The extension cord lamp vivifies the materiality of energy transmission through the figural coiling of extension cords. Composed of an off-the-shelf extension cord and electrical fittings, the mass of the lamp is created by coiling and securing the cord into a rigid tangle of knots, spirals, and figures. A cool LED bulb rests inside the tangle, providing warm illumination on top of a base that is all conductor.
